Though
Bali has a large variety of cafés and restaurants serving authentic Indonesian as well as international cuisine, but the small local restaurants are equally good. There are many American chains like KFC, McDonald’s, Starbuck’s Coffee which also offer exclusive menu which are influenced by local taste. However, Indonesian dishes like nasi goreng (fried rice) and mie goreng (fried noodles). The dishes served do not cost much and the chicken or shrimp to the menu also increases the value of the food. The famous “kaki
lima” is also a common place to enjoy food.
Some of the major Balinese dishes to enjoy in the city are - Babi guling, Bebek betutu, Lawar, Sate lilit, Urutan, Ayam Panggang bumbu bawang mentah, Ayam Pannang bumbu merah, Ikan bakar bumbu terasi and many more.
